Kuala Lumpur, 19 October 2010- Hitachi Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Berhad today introduced its CP-X5021N new video projector, the first versatile LCD model designed to meet the specific needs of the higher education market.

The new projector is designed for flexible installation. For example, the projectors offer simple-yet-effective lens shift functionality and 1.7x zoom for long-throw installations. In addition, with the Perfect Fit 2 feature, users can adjust four corners, one at a time, and correct geometric and image distortion.

The new CP-X5021N projector offers networking capability, enabling them to be controlled remotely via a LAN network connection. Hitachi's exclusive PJMan® Projector Management software gives instructors and administrators the ability to monitor and operate any network-connected projector from a remote location, and receive diagnostic information (for example, remaining lamp life), making the new ideal for installations where multiple projectors are used across a large area, such as an entire building or campus.

Hitachi's Network Messenger feature also enables all networked projectors to function as an emergency notification system, where a single message can be broadcast on every projector.

The new CP-X5021N offers a host of advanced performance and convenience features. The CP-X5021N (native XGA resolution) deliver up to 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio for bright, clear images even in medium to large lecture halls. The
CP-X5021N has built-in 16-watt audio systems that eliminate the need for external speakers.

The new CP-X5021N incorporates exclusive Hitachi features such as MyMemory, MyText, MySource and MyScreen buttons for fast remote-control access to frequently used functions and sources; a blackboard/whiteboard mode that projects lines for easier writing when using a whiteboard or blackboard; a daytime mode for easier viewing in daylight, and security features including a PIN lock, heavy duty security bar and a Transition Detector that requires a password to operate the projector if it is moved.

The new CP-X5021N provides numerous audio and video connections, including BNC, RGB, HDMI, component, composite and S-Video inputs, a microphone input and RGB and audio outputs.
